You own two or three offices and the end-of-month spreadsheet takes a Saturday. Jarvis Analytics is the name you hear from DSO people. Calibic is the name you hear from single-location owners. Both read your practice software and show you numbers. The difference is who they were built for.
What Jarvis Analytics is
Jarvis Analytics is a cloud analytics dashboard, with a Henry Schein One logo on its site. On 13 October 2026 it says it provides “actionable insights for dental businesses and practices” and does not “try to be everything to everyone.” Its testimonials come from DSO executives, and its listed users are executive management, regional managers, office managers, finance, marketing and operations. It describes a library of “50+ specific KPIs,” modules named Tx Miner, Practice Potential and Hygiene Recall, a Morning Huddle, end-of-day reports, and a Marketing Matchback. It calls itself “Practice Management Systems (PMS) agnostic” and lists Cloud 9, Denticon, Dentrix (including Ascend and Enterprise), Eaglesoft, EndoVision, Focus, OmsVision, Open Dental, PBS Endo, PerioVision and Tracker.
Jarvis was opened to private practices in 2022, per Dental Products Report. Its pricing page has a calculator but no rendered prices; the only figure shown is a “$500 value” setup fee waiver. So no Jarvis price appears on this page.
What Calibic is
Calibic is a read-only intelligence layer for Open Dental, Dentrix and Eaglesoft. It reads the database and never writes to it. It is built for one practice or a small group. Focus today, Daily Huddle, Smart recall, Protect, Ask and Recovered are LIVE. Local ranking and Competitor Insights are LIVE. Review monitoring is LIVE and drafted replies are BETA. The price is published: $149 per location per month, or $119 billed annually. Enterprise and DSO pricing is by conversation.
Where Jarvis is stronger
- Groups. Aggregate views across many practices, ranking offices against each other, regional manager roles. That is its core. Calibic’s group view is far smaller.
- Practice systems. Eleven listed, including Denticon and the specialty systems. Calibic reads three.
- Beyond the PMS. Marketing, call log and payroll data sources. Calibic reads the PMS only.
- Henry Schein One backing. If you are on Dentrix Enterprise and want the vendor’s own analytics partner, that matters.
Where Calibic is different
- A published price per location, with no setup fee.
- A ranked daily list in dollars, built to hide noise rather than add KPIs.
- Protect. A private audit trail of deleted payments, adjustments and write-offs from the PMS’s own log tables. Jarvis does not list this.
- Recovered counted only when the PMS shows the treatment booked, completed and paid.
- Read-only toward the practice software. No write path exists.
